SUNY Erie laptops have VPN software (GlobalProtect) that can sometimes cause issues accessing our library databases off campus. If this is the case, you can disable it (assuming it’s a Windows laptop) by clicking the notification tray on the task bar (#1), clicking the icon for the GlobalProtect VPN (#2), clicking the Settings icon (#3), and choosing Disable(#4). After you’re finished using our databases, you can re-enable it following the same steps.
